The Aristide, Mansfield Tx
If someone had ever asked me to describe my perfect work day, this would be close! This styled shoot took place at Aristide Mansfield, such a beautiful venue, and was planned and organized by photographer Lana DelMar. Lana headed up an unbelievably talented group of photographers, and put together an amazing vendor team.
After a long, hot summer, this happened to fall on one of our first cooler days of early Autumn heading into September. We had chosen some soft fall tones and textures for this shoot, to ease us into fall and evoke the Tuscan theme: Soft, warm, and a little rustic.
We chose a palette of peach, orange, rust, cream, and sage. The floral palette included Dahlias, Country Home roses, Ranunculus, Dates and Olive branches. Luckily the local Nandina bushes and Chinese Pistachio trees cooperated with us by providing some just-turned fall foliage and berries. We opted to create a floral column with an accent piece to frame the doorway at the Aristide.

The models for this were Chloe and Buraq, with hair and makeup by Sharayah Lee (the models were positively glowing in person). The fluffy dream of a dress from A&Be Dallas was by designer RISH Bridal. The groom’s apparel was by Friar Tux.

For the bridal we created a loose garden style bouquet with plenty of texture for a Tuscan harvest feel.

In addition to the wedding couple, there were also some bridal portraits.

This lovely model is Thanh Nguyen, in another beautiful A&Be gown. For her, we created a hair piece on a comb with ranunculus and spray roses. Part of her shoot included the absolutely beautiful ivy covered wall at the Aristide. Also featured in this set was a gorgeous hand painted backdrop by Ruth Weatherford It was so amazing, I can think of so many ways to use something like this! (Photo by Honey Rose)

Ruthi Hutson provided an incredible macaron cake for the shoot. I hadn’t heard of Ruthi before this but now I’m absolutely obsessed with her cakes. I’ve never seen anything like them, she’s a true artist.
